Borussia Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl admits he wanted to 'kick himself in the arse' after his first-half blunder allowed Arsenal to score in Tuesday's 1-1 UEFA Champions League draw.
The Group F opener ended all-square after Dortmund substitute Ivan Perisic cancelled out Robin van Persie's first half goal in the 88th minute.
Van Persie scored after managing to lose his marker Kehl and the skipper admits he was left kicking himself in the dressing room at the break.
"I sat during the half-time break and wanted to kick myself in the arse," the 31-year-old told BILD.
"We played well, but because of a stupid mistake from me, we fell behind.
"Thankfully, it finished in a draw."
Dortmund travel to Marseille in their next European encounter on September 28th, the same night Arsenal host Olympiakos in Group F.
