Full-back expected to sign two-year extension with champions

Defending Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund look set to agree a new contract with full-back Lukasz Piszczek. The Poland international is expected to sign a two-year extension to the terms he agreed when arriving from Hertha Berlin at the start of last season. Piszczek became a regular first-team player under Jurgen Klopp as Dortmund won the title and the 25-year-old would therefore be pleased to stay. He told Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper: "We have had a first round of talks and the club wants to sign on with me. "I think this will work out fine for both sides. I am happy being part of the club's future."
