Wolfsburg duo Miroslav Karhan and Patrick Platins have agreed new deals at the Volkswagen-Arena.
While reserve keeper Platins had put pen-to-paper on a contract tying him to the Wolves until 2006, Slovakian international midfielder Karhan committed himself until 2007.
It is the second time in just three months Karhan has extended his Wolves stay after the club took up their year's option on the star back in March.
"Patrick is a young talent who faces a promising future and I am also very happy that with Miroslav Karhan we managed to keep one of our key players based on a long-term contract," said Wolfsburg's general manager Peter Pander.
Following spells at Slovakian side Spartak Trnava and Spanish outfit Real Betis, the much travelled Karhan joined the Wolves in 2001 following a short spell in Turkey with Besiktas and quickly turned into a reliable force in defensive midfield.
