In Friday night's relegation dogfight Bochum claimed a crucial 2-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach.
Theofanis Gekas was Bochum's most influential figure as he scored their first goal and played his part in a second.
After picking up a misplaced pass Gekas beat Borussia goalkeeper Kasey Keller with a sublime chip at the close of the first half.
Greek striker Gekas then challenged for a near post free kick which saw his marker Kahe head into his own goal under pressure.
The win takes Bochum up to 14th in the table, whilst Borussia now drop in to the Bundesliga relegation zone.
