Hamburg are set to sign Lyngby teenager Christian Noergaard after the two clubs reached an agreement.
The 17-year-old has travelled to Germany for a medical and to discuss his personal terms with Thorsten Fink's club before the transfer is completed.
Noergaard is delighted to move to Germany and has revealed it was always an ambition to make the switch.
"It's a big challenge and I truly look forward to it," said the talented midfielder. "It's a childhood dream coming true."
Lyngby recognise they are losing a player with star potential, but could not turn down the deal.
"Of course, it's hard to lose a big starlet, but on the other hand, we have to consider the offers we receive." Lyngby director Niels Frederiksen told the club's official website.
"In this case, it's a good deal and Christian gets a fantastic chance."
