Alcides and Rajkovic could stay out on loan

PSV Eindhoven want to extend the loan deals of Chelsea defenders Alcides and Slobodan Rajkovic. Brazilian stopper Alcides has been with PSV since January 2007, having previously been on loan at Benfica. He was originally signed by Chelsea in 2004 and has been a regular feature in PSV's title-winning side this season. Rajkovic is in his first campaign at PSV after the teenager was signed by Chelsea from Serbian club OFK Belgrade.

Difficult to predict

Dutch champions PSV are hoping to keep hold of the two players, but accept hanging on to Alcides may prove difficult. "We really want to keep both players here," PSV technical manager Stan Valckx told Voetbal International. "I cannot say if that is possible, it is difficult to predict. "For Alcides especially. They have already loaned him out for four years and I don't know if that is their intention for next season too."
