Eintracht Frankfurt have signed striker Naohiro Takahara from Hamburg for a fee thought to be around ‚é¼1 million (£680,000).
The Japanese international agreed to a three-year deal at the Commerzbank Arena on Monday.
Takahara, who only scored one goal for the Rothosen this season, had been keen to leave Hamburg after receiving limited opportunities at the AOL Arena and will now be looking to resurrect his career with Frankfurt.
The 26-year-old is Frankfurt's third signing ahead of the coming season, following Albert Streit and Michael Fink in joining the German side.
