Namibian international Collin Benjamin is considering extending his stay with title-chasing Bundesliga side Hamburg.
The versatile midfielder, who can star either in defensive midfield or on the flanks, is currently recovering from knee problems and will make a decision about his future in the next weeks.
The 28-year-old, who has not played a single match this season, is being linked with promotion-chasing Bundesliga 2 outfit VfL Bochum, but admitted that he was impressed by Hamburg's intention to hand him a new deal.
"The offer is a great thing as thanks to it I was able to take my time and work hard to get fit without having the fear to get unemployed. I'll make up my mind very soon," declared the versatile star.
Thomas Doll's in-form team are currently challenging Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich for the title after the Bavarian giants' lead was reduced to only four points following the 3-0 thrashing at Werder Bremen.
