HAMBURG are still hoping to sign Willem II midfielder Denny Landzaat.
The German side were scared off signing the 26-year-old earlier in the season because of Willem II's asking price.
The Dutch side were looking for ‚é¼ 9 million (£5.7 million) for the highly-rated ace, which Hamburg felt was too much.
Hamburg have kept tabs on Landzaat and are ready to renew their interest when the transfer window re-opens in January.
It is believed that Willem II are prepared to accept a lower offer for Landzaat due to the uncertain financial situation.
