Per Ciljan Skjelbred has expressed his desire to move to make his loan move to Hertha Berlin permanent.
The Norway international is currently on loan from Hamburg until the end of the season, joining as part of the deal which saw Pierre-Michel Lasogga move in the other direction.
Skjelbred has made 16 appearances this season and has scored one goal in that spell, with the 26 year-old under contract at parent club Hamburg until the summer of 2015.
Speaking to kicker-Sportmagazin, he said: "I want to stay on at Hertha Berlin, that is true.
"I have received some good feedback from the club, but we will have to wait and see what Hamburg's view is."
