Striker Nando Rafael and defender Dick van Burik will both miss the match against the Red Devils after picking up injuries on Saturday in the 1-1 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Captain van Burik badly twisted his knee at the Bokelberg Stadium, whilst Angolan forward Rafael was forced to leave the pitch with a broken cheekbone and will be out of action for at least two weeks.
Hertha were minutes from a crucial victory over Monchengladbach at the weekend thanks to Roberto Pinto's opener, however Ivo Ulich's deserved equaliser left them with just a point.
1860's home defeat to Hamburg left the Bavarian side just a point clear of the drop zone, leaving Hertha the chance to climb 14th with a three-point haul against the Red Devils.
