Kiyotake admits interest in move to Europe
Japan international Hiroshi Kiyotake has admitted his interest in a move to Europe amid reported interest from Stuttgart.
The Bundesliga outfit recently sent a scouting team to the Far East to keep tabs on the Cerezo Osaka attacking midfielder, who is understood to be one of the club's immediate transfer targets.
Despite being unable to watch Kiyotake in action due to the player being sidelined by injury, Stuttgart are considering the 21-year-old as a transfer option in January.
A move to Germany would be a dream come true for the attacking midfielder, who hopes to emulate the success of former youth level team-mate and Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa.
"I have a strong affection for European football. In the future, I would really want to go and play there," he told Sponichi Annex.
If a deal materialises, Kiyotake will join international team-mate Shinji Okazaki at Stuttgart.
