FC Nurnberg have confirmed reports that in-demand midfielder Zvjezdan Misimovic will move to the easy-credit-stadium next summer after seeing out his contract with Bundesliga rivals VFL Bochum.
The Bosnian playmaker refused to extend his expiring contract with Bochum and turned his back on Hertha Berlin's offer in order to agree terms on a deal which commits him to Nurnberg until 2011.
FCN coach Hans Meyer believes that the 24-year-old has a bright future.
"Zvjezdan is a young player with a great potential. He has already proved himself in the Bundesliga and has this touch of genius to win a game on his own," said Meyer.
Misimovic is a product of Bayern Munich's youth department and after moving to Bochum in 2004, he established himself as one of the most promising offensive midfielders in Germany.
