Nurnberg have handed a new deal to defensive starlet Dominik Reinhardt.
The 21-year-old has secured a regular place in the starting line-up this term and has been rewarded for a string of solid efforts with a new contract.
Reinhardt, who has risen through the youth system at Nurnberg, has signed a deal which ties him to the club until the summer of 2009.
"Dominic has developed into a key member of our team," said Nurnberg's sporting director Martin Bader. "We are pleased that he continues with us as we are keen to build on our young players.
"We hope this shows that young players can have a professional career here."
Reinhardt was happy to extend his commitment with Nurnberg, as he said: "The club gave me the chance as a young player and had the confidence to play me in the Bundesliga.
"I am proud to have signed this deal, I feel good here and I believe we can establish ourselves in Die Bundesliga."
