Chedli off to Nurnberg

Nurnberg look set to sign Tunisian international Adel Chedli.

Bundesliga side Nurnberg look set to start the new season with an African influence in their midfield after reports hinted Tunisia international Adel Chedli was on his way to Germany.

The player is leaving Istres after they failed to survive the drop from the French top-flight and would join compatriot Jawhar Mnari, signed recently from Tunisian side Esperance, at the Frankenstadion.

Local media speculation claims Chedli has been offered a two-year contract and will sign later this week.

He caught the eye of Nurnberg coach Wolfgang Wolf at the Confederations Cup, although his team lost to Argentina and hosts Germany.
