Hamburg striker Son Heung-min is not for sale despite reported interest from Liverpool, according to Frank Arnesen.
The 20 year-old has been a revelation for the German outfit this season, scoring four times in seven league appearances to date.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is desperate to bolster his attacking options following Fabio Borini's three-month injury lay-off and is understood to be considering a January approach for Son.
However, Hamburg sporting director Arnesen has no intention of letting the South Korea international leave, at least until the end of the current campaign.
"Son has been brilliant in recent weeks so it is not surprising to see other clubs are interested in him," he told Bild.
"We'll do everything to keep him. He is happy here and we're confident of convincing him to extend his contract."
Son has two years left on his current deal but talks for an upgraded contract are expected to take place during the winter break.
