Wolfsburg have signed Jacek Krzynowek from Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
The 29-year-old Poland international agreed a three-year deal at the VW Arena on Wednesday after passing a medical.
"Both clubs have agreed the deal. The player is really looking forward to his future at Wolfsburg," said sport director Klaus Fuchs.
The move to the Wolves will give Krzynowek the chance to shine after a difficult season at Leverkusen that saw him mainly emerge off the substitutes' bench.
The Polish World Cup squad member will team up with Wolfsburg coach Klaus Augenthaler for whom he played at both Nurnberg and Leverkusen.
