The agent of Wolfsburg winger Kevin De Bruyne has dismissed reports linking his client with a move to Bayern Munich.

The former Chelsea player has been one of the inspirations behind Wolfsburg's rise to second in the Bundesliga at the turn of the year, and his performances have reportedly caught Bayern's eye.

His agent Patrick De Koster says there is no truth to the rumours Bayern are set to sign the Belgian, though, insisting he will be staying with Wolfsburg for many years to come.

"I never said there had been contact with Bayern," De Koster told Germany's Sport1 television. "There's been no contact with Bayern at all and no contact with any other club either.

"Kevin has played a great season so far with Wolfsburg and it's only normal that other clubs are watching him, but nobody has spoken to me.

"I have great respect for Wolfsburg and I thank (director of sport) Klaus Allofs for giving Kevin the chance when he was not in a good situation with Chelsea and could not play."

Bayern are not the only club believed to be keen on the goalscoring midfielder, but the 23-year-old recently underlined his commitment to the Wolves, who are on course for a place in the Champions League next season.

"We can only thank Wolfsburg," De Koster added. "He signed a new contract until 2019 with them in January and after a good World Cup, he's been in good form for Wolfsburg.

"Naturally he is only thinking about Wolfsburg. Kevin only wants to stay here."
