Bayern Munich trio Franck Ribery, Luca Toni and Tim Borowski will miss next week's Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon.
French ace Ribery is struggling with a shin injury he picked up in their 4-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup in midweek.
Striker Toni has failed to shake off a heel problem and he faces up to ten days on the sidelines.
German international Borowski suffered a thigh injury in midweek and the club are still waiting to find out the full extent of the problem.
Bayern boss Jurgen Klinsmann admitted it was a blow to lose the trio, but is confident they have enough strength in depth with Bayern leading 5-0 from the first leg.
"It's bad news for us as they are very important to our team, but we have strong substitutes, who will be able to overcome the upcoming challenges," said Klinsmann.
