Germany coach Joachim Low was happy with his team, despite only gaining one point from their World Cup qualifier against Finland.
A hat-trick from Miroslav Klose enabled Low's men to come from behind three times in Helsinki to earn a share of the spoils in a thrilling contest.
The draw allowed Germany to stay top of qualifying Group Four and Low was pleased with his side's battling qualities.
"It was a great match and both teams could have ended up taking all three points," said Low.
"Finland came at us all guns blazing and we had some problems with their long balls.
"If you draw 3-3 then you can't say that everything went really well, but looking at the way the game went we can say that it was a point gained.
"We showed great fighting spirit. We know exactly what Miroslav Klose can do - putting trust in someone always pays off in the end."
Next up for Germany is a home clash with Russia, who sit second in Group Four, on 11th October.
