Wolfsburg have confirmed an agreement with Bayern Munich to loan midfielder Julio Dos Santos from the German champions.
The VW Arena side are keen to sign the out-of-favour Paraguayan youngster for the second half of the season as they attempt to move clear of the Bundesliga drop zone.
Dos Santos has had limited opportunities at Bayern since joining last year and spent time with Wolfsburg in the spring to gain much-needed match practice.
"We have more or less agreed terms. Bayern now just have to talk to the player," Wolfsburg general manager Klaus Fuchs revealed.
"We want to get things finalised this coming week."
According to Kicker, Wolves have agreed to pay Dos Santos' wages in full, but will not be given the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
