Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro is set to miss next week's Uefa Champions League clash with Chelsea.Pizarro picked up a thigh injury during Bayern's 3-0 victory at Wolfsburg.
The Peruvian international sustained the injury as early as the sixth minute and he was forced to limp off.
Pizarro is likely to be on the sidelines for up to two weeks with the problem meaning he will definitely miss the trip to Stamford Bridge next Wednesday.
The skilful striker also faces a race against time to be fit for the second leg in Munich on April 12.
The news is a blow for Bayern boss Felix Magath as they look to try and reach the semi-finals of Europe's premier competition.
