Bayern Munich are looking to offer rising star Paolo Guerrero a long-term contract at the Olympiastadion.
The 20-year-old Peruvian striker bagged two second-half goals as Bayern came from behind to beat Bochum on Sunday and club bosses now want to start talking about a new contract.
"Paolo has made lots of progress recently," said chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
"We are interested in making sure that he remains a Bayern player for a long time. We will sit down with him when the time is right, but nothing would appear to stand in the way of an extended contract."
Guerrero shot to prominence over the last week scoring his first first-team goal against Hannover, as well as two in Bayern amateurs' 3-2 DFB Cup victory over Braunschweig, but the youngster says he is not letting his new-found fame go to his head:
"It's been a week that I won't forget in a hurry," said Guerrero.
"Three goals in two Bundesliga matches is not bad, but I've still got a lot of work to do."
