ZE ROBERTO has threatened to quit playing in Germany following his sending off against Bayer Leverkusen.

The Brazilian was red-carded after appearing to kick out at compatriot Lucio during the two sides 3-3 draw on Saturday.

Now the former Leverkusen man has spoken out against the decision and the subsequent three-match ban he will receive.

"I just don't know what the world is coming to," stated Ze Roberto.

"If you get a red card for a little thing like that, then it might be time to consider other countries with other cultures where you are allowed to play football and not get sent-off."

The skilful winger's suspension could not have come at a worse time for Bayern boss Ottmar Hitzfeld who is already without injured trio Jens Jeremies, Mehmet Scholl and Sebastian Deisler.
