Stuttgart have named Austria international Florian Klein as their first signing for next season.
The 27-year-old midfielder will join on a free transfer from Salzburg in the summer.
"Florian is a very experienced player with more than 200 games in the Austrian Bundesliga," said sporting director Fredi Bobic. "He also brings international experience both in the Europa League and with the national team of Austria.
"We are convinced he can be quickly integrated and he will strengthen our side."
Stuttgart have fought against relegation this season but with their Bundesliga status now secure, Klein is looking forward to the step up.
"The German Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world," he said. "I am glad that I can represent such a historic club like Stuttgart next season."
