Ermin Bikacic has left Stuttgart and joined Bundesliga 2 outfit Eintracht Braunschweig on a deal until 2013.

The 21-year-old defender had six months remaining on his contract with Stuttgart, but has moved in January for an undisclosed fee.

Bikacic, who played just six senior matches for Stuttgart, is now excited about the future with eight-placed Bundesliga 2 side Braunschweig.

He told his new club's official website: "I am leaving Stuttgart.

Valuable

"The decisive factor for me to turn to Eintrtacht Braunschweig was the planning of the manager and the general manager of the club."

Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic has wished Bikacic well for his career.

He told Stuttgart's official website: "Ermin Bikacic has grown up at our club, enjoying some valuable matches.

"I like to see him join a team like Eintracht Braunschweig right now. He will be getting the chance to play regular first-team football in a good standard of league.

"He has the skill to make it. He can make a progress through this move."
