VfB Stuttgart sport director Horst Heldt has made it clear that top goalscorer Mario Gomez is not going anywhere.
The 21-year-old, who made his international debut for Germany against Switzerland this month, is currently top of the Bundesliga scoring charts with 13 goals.
German media reports claim that Gomez was watched by scouts from England, Italy and Spain during the Swabians' 4-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday, but Heldt insists that the player is not for sale.
"There is no way we will be letting him go;" Heldt told Bild.
"We wouldn't even start considering it if we were offered é¼25million (£17million).
"Mario is only 21 years old, he has an excellent contract and knows all too well where the best place is for him to continue his development," he added.
Gomez is contracted to VfB until 2011.
