Nurnberg goalkeeper Raphael Schafer will join Bundesliga rivals Stuttgart at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old custodian had agreed personal terms with the Swabian outfit several weeks ago, but the two clubs have now finally agreed on a fee.
Nurnberg sport director Martin Bader increased the pressure on Stuttgart earlier this week by demanding an agreement before the two clubs meet in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
That has prompted Stuttgart to concur on a é¼2million (£1.32million) deal, with Schafer set to sign a four-year contract with his future employers.
He will replace long-serving Stuttgart custodian Timo Hildebrand at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion, as the Germany keeper moves on to pastures new this summer.
