Stuttgart jumped up to sixth place in the Bundlesiga table with a 4-0 win at last-placed Eintracht Braunschweig.

Vedad Ibisevic (40) scored the only goal of the first half but the floodgates opened after the break as Alexandru Maxim (50), Ibrahima Traore (76) and substitute Martin Harnik (86) got on the scoresheet.

Defeat left newly-promoted Braunschweig rock bottom with just one point from seven games.

Nurnberg twice battled back from behind to claim a 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen at the Weser Stadion.

An own goal from Berkay Dabanli gave the hosts the lead in the eighth minute and Eljero Elia bagged a double, but that was not enough to earn Bremen all three points.

Hiroshi Kiyotake and Josip Drmic got the visitors back on level terms from 2-0 down, and Adam Hlousek's 70th-minute equaliser ensured a fifth draw in seven games for Nurnberg.
