Bordeaux have announced that Ludovic Obraniak is to complete a move from Ligue 1 rivals Lille, with a deal having been pushed through.
The 27-year-old found himself out of favour with the reigning French champions, forcing him to consider his future.
With only six months remaining on his contract, he has taken the decision to move on.
Obraniak is desperate to figure for Poland at Euro 2012 and knows he must find regular football if he is to be considered for selection.
Bordeaux are prepared to offer him those opportunities and have snapped the midfielder up on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The transfer is subject to a medical being passed, but that is considered to be a formality.
Obraniak could make his Bordeaux debut in their home date with Valenciennes on Saturday.
