Werder Bremen have announced coach Thomas Schaaf and general manager Klaus Allofs have extended their contracts at the club.
Schaaf, who has been the Bundesliga club's boss since 1999, has signed a new deal which runs until 2014.
Allofs has agreed a contract until 2015 with the option for an additional year and he is pleased to have reached a conclusion after lengthy discussions.
He told Bremen's official website: "It was a long way to go and we had to sort out many things in the process.
"However, it was always down to details and never up to personal disharmonies."
The Bundesliga is now entering the winter break and Schaaf will use the time to plan for Bremen's future ahead of the January transfer window.
He said: "It is a good thing to be able to continue what we had started. It's good to stay on.
"We have our ambitions and we will try to further hand the Werder Bremen squad a unique complexion."
