Bundesliga round-up

Werder Bremen claimed top spot following a 3-0 victory over Hannover.

Werder Bremen claimed top spot following a 3-0 victory over Hannover, and Bayer Leverkusen came from two goals down to defeat Alemannia Aachen.

Bremen did not look back from the moment Tim Borowski gave them a fifth minute lead.

Though it took the hosts another hour to double their advantage through Hugo Almeida, the win was wrapped up by Per Mertesacker 16 minutes from time.

Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen fought back at Alemannia Aachen to claim a 3-2 win.

Aachen led by two goals after Aurel Reghecampf's ninth minute penalty and Vedad Ibisevic's strike on the half-hour.

But Bernd Schneider gave Leverkusen a sniff just before half-time and the visitors came out all guns blazing in the second period.

Andrei Voronin claimed the leveller nine minutes after the interval and Schneider completed the impressive turnaround just three minutes later.
