Valdez has Dortmund desire

Nelson Valdez has reiterated his desire to move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Werder Bremen striker Nelson Valdez has reiterated his desire to move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

The Paraguayan international says he is still determined to leave the Weserstadion this summer despite a recent run in Thomas Schaaf's starting line-up.

"I have already told (Sporting Director) Klaus Allofs that I will not be extending my contract at Bremen," Valdez told Kreiszeitung Syke.

"I want to move to Dortmund in the summer. I have already agreed terms with them even though nothing has been signed yet."

Valdez has reportedly been offered a three-year deal at the Signal Iduna Park and Allofs has signalled his willingness to let the unhappy star leave the club.

"It looks as though he sees his future away from Werder," added Allofs.

"If one of your players is unhappy then you have to start thinking of ways to change the situation."
