Denmark international Daniel Jensen is confident he will sample regular action with German champions Werder Bremen.

Jensen completed his protracted switch to Bremen from Murcia on Monday after the German side relented to paying a fee for his services.

The midfielder believes the fact Werder have forked out in the region of ‚é¼1 million will ensure he plays a prominent role in the team this season.

"I am really happy that things have fallen in to place and the fact that they have paid money gives me some extra assurance that I will be picked," Jensen told Onside.dk.

Jensen's agent Ivan Benes feels the move will be beneficial to the player's career as he has been a long-term target of Werder.

Benes told Ritzau: "The Werder Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf has followed Daniel Jensen for five, six years and that is extremely important.

"It's a great club where Daniel can develop and hopefully strengthen his position in the national team."
