Emmanuel Eboue believes Galatasaray can still qualify for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League - despite their 1-1 draw at home to Schalke on Wednesday.
Burak Yilmaz scored his seventh goal in the competition at the TT Arena Stadium before the Bundesliga side equalised in the closing seconds of a pulsating opening 45 minutes through Jermaine Jones' side-footed finish.
However, the former Arsenal defender insists that the tie is far from over as the Turkish champions prepare for their trip to Gelsenkirchen for the crunch second leg on 12th March.
"Schalke played well and they made it very difficult for us," said 29-year-old Eboue.
"They scored away from home but I'm positive that we are capable of doing the same the same thing on their own patch.
"At this level, home advantage is not necessarily an advantage. We know that we will have to score in Germany and we have the players that can do it.
"I believe we will score there, so I believe that we will qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition."
