The agent of Schalke forward Jefferson Farfan claims that he has not been approached about a possible transfer to Roma this summer.
Liverpool and AC Milan have also linked with the Peru international, but his representative, Raul Gonzalez, insists the priority is stay in Gelsenkirchen.
Farfan played in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg defeat to Manchester United and his commitment apparently remains with Schalke.
Gonzalez told calciomercatoweb.it: "I have heard the rumours that link Jefferson to Roma, but nobody from the team has got in touch with me.
"On the other hand, Jefferson is under contract at Schalke until 2015 so if there is really a team interested in him they will first have to get in touch with the officials of Schalke and then after that they could have a conversation with us.
"The priority of Jefferson is to stay in Germany and then renew or extend his contract."
