Schalke stretched their lead at the top of Die Bundesliga with a 2-1 win over Bochum.
Marcio Rafinha gave Schalke the lead after 19 minutes to put them in firm control.
Former Rangers winger Peter Lovenkrands doubled the lead on 27 minutes to leave Bochum with a real mountain to climb.
Bochum pulled a goal back four minutes after the break through Theofanis Gekas.
However, any hope they had of getting back into the contest went up in smoke when Heiko Butscher was sent off on 65 minutes.
The win moves Schalke five points clear at the top of the table, while Bochum remain in trouble sitting third from bottom.
