Brazilian midfielder Lincoln looks set to return to action for Bundesliga leaders Schalke this week.
The diminutive playmaker returned to Germany at the weekend after spending the past two weeks in his homeland getting treatment on torn ligaments in his thigh.
"He is looking fit and I hope that he'll be able to start full training with the squad on Tuesday," said Royal Blues coach Mirko Slomka.
Schalke hit top spot in the Bundesliga at the weekend following a 4-2 win at Cottbus and will be favoured to stay ahead of the pack following Friday's clash with struggling local rivals Bochum.
Slomka is also expected to welcome club captain Marcelo Bordon back to his defensive line with the Brazilian stopper having recovered from a hip injury.
