Schalke striker Mike Hanke has confirmed that he will be joining Wolfsburg this summer.
The 21-year-old, who has been called into Jurgen Klinsmann's German Confederations Cup squad, ended speculation over his future on Friday.
"I will be moving to Wolfsburg. A decision has been made," he told the Westfalische Anzeige.
It is believed that Wolfsburg will pay around é¼4 million for the talented youngster, who recently expressed his frustration at a lack of first team chances under coach Ralf Rangnick.
Meanwhile veteran Schalke defender Tomasz Waldoch has agreed a new one-year deal with the Royal Blues.
"We know just what we have in Thomas," said Schalke general manager Rudi Assauer.
"He is a model professional who is still capable of making the grade in the Bundesliga despite being 34 years of age.''
