Stuttgart concede that keeping Antonio Rudiger will be a struggle, but only intend to do business with a 'big outfit'.

Rudiger is among the most sought-after talents in German football, with the 21-year-old defender having taken the Bundesliga by storm.

A number of assured displays have drawn admiring glances from across Europe, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Porto and Monaco all monitoring his progress.

Stuttgart are aware that the day will come to sanction a sale, with it likely that interest in the youngster will continue to rise.

They will, however, ensure that any deal is right for all parties, with Rudiger deserving of the grandest of stages on which to showcase his talent.

Stuttgart manager Armin Veh told Sport-BILD: “Antonio is under contract until June 2017 with our club. The thing is, how much longer can we keep hold of such a player?

“He is willing to learn, has power and self-confidence and the willpower he needs to succeed.

“I understand that big clubs are chasing him. But a move will only be considered for Antonio if he joins a really big outfit. Otherwise, it would be better for him to stay at our club.”
