Bayern Munich remain in contract extension talks with Arjen Robben, and are optimistic that a deal will be struck.
The Dutch winger, who has been with Bayern since 2009, is tied to the Bundesliga champions until the summer of 2015.
There is, however, a desire from all sides to prolong that agreement.
Robben remains a first-team regular at the Allianz Arena and was a prominent figure in a side which landed an historic Treble in 2012/13.
Pep Guardiola considers the former Chelsea man to be key to his plans heading forward, and fresh terms would help to end any uncertainty surrounding his long-term future.
No paperwork has been signed as yet, but Bayern director Matthias Sammer claims discussions are progressing positively.
He told Kicker-Sportmagazin: "Talks regarding a new deal for Arjen Robben are ongoing.
"We are making some progress on it as both parties are keen to work out a new contract."
