Hamburg midfielder Gojko Kacar has been given the green light to join Japanese outfit Cerezo Osaka.
The former Serbian international is under contract with the club until the summer of 2015 but has been deemed surplus to requirement by Hamburg manager Bert van Marwijk.
Cerezo would be permitted to sign him up until their transfer window closes on February 18th.
The 27-year-old's agent Milan Kacar, who is also his uncle, confirmed that talks have occurred between the two parties.
Milan Kacar told BILD: "Gojoko has been handed the green light from Hamburger SV to fly over to that club to take a look at all the facilities.
"He is considering that move - but we still would have to work out an agreement regarding the deal."
