Werder Bremen have confirmed that they agreed a deal with St Pauli striker Fin Bartels.
The former Germany Under-21 international will sign for the Bundesliga club on a Bosman deal when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has agreed a three-year deal for the striker, who has been playing in the Bundesliga 2.
Werder Bremen coach Robin Dutt said: "Fin Bartels is a player I have watched over a few years all in all, and you have to say he now has made the necessary progress to be a boost for our club."
Bremen's general manager, Thomas Eichin, also commented on the arrival of the player.
He said: "Fin is a player from north Germany with experience in the top-flight.
"He will require no settling-in period at our club and he will be a perfect addition for us thing. He is among the best attacking-minded players of Bundesliga.2. "
