Werder Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin has insisted that Aaron Hunt will not leave the club this month.
The 27-year-old midfielder's current contract with the German outfit runs out at the end of the season.
Negotiations over a new contract are going on, and Eichin insists that Bremen will not be forced to sell the attacker-minded player at any cost during the ongoing January transfer window.
"Aaron Hunt is not on the move," he told Kicker-Sportmagazin.
"It's a fact that Aaron Hunt will definitely see out the season with our club.
"He is a key player we would like to keep on with beyond the end of the season."
