Borussia Dortmund defender Lukasz Piszczek hopes to return to action for his side before Christmas.
The Poland international underwent hip surgery in the summer, meaning the Champions League final loss to Bayern Munich in May was his last appearance.
The 28-year-old has remained part of the picture with Dortmund - to the point of signing a new deal last month - and wants to be back before the winter break kicks in.
"I feel good," Piszczek told Dortmund's official website.
"There are days when you don't feel particularly great, but that's normal at this stage of the recovery process.
"I'll definitely be fit for the second half of the season. I want to return before then but, if I don't, I won't be too downhearted."
