Werder Bremen boss Robin Dutt has ruled out the chances of a return for Hoffenheim goalkeeper Tim Wiese.
The Germany international spent seven years at the Weserstadion before moving to Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim, where he is currently deemed surplus to requirements.
Wiese has been linked with a switch back to Bremen throughout the summer by the German media, but Dutt insists that move is not on the cards.
"Tim Wiese will not rejoin Werder Bremen. I see some things have been overdone," he told Deutsche Presseagentur.
"I have missed out on insisting that Sebastien Mielitz is our clear first-choice goalkeeper.
"Though I had to tell him this week as those rumours had taken shapes in the meantime that are no good for him as a player in general."
