FC Augsburg manager Markus Weinzierl says he is keen to add extra firepower to the Bundesliga side this summer.
Injuries to current forwards Matthias Fetsch and Aristide Bance means that Weinzierl has limited options in front of goal, although he was priced out by SC Heerenveen for Icelandic striker Alfred Finnbogason.
Augsburg finished just two points clear of safety last season, and the 38-year old has already underlined the importance of signing a striker if they are to improve on their 15th-place finish.
"In Sascha Molders we actually have just one striker available, this is due to injuries to our other forwards," he told German sports magazine, Kicker.
"We are definitely keeping our eyes open regarding a new striker. But we also have to admit we are facing a difficult situation out there on the transfer scene."
