Bayer Leverkusen are interesting in signing Bayern Munich teenagers Emre Can and Mitchell Weiser.
Can is a midfielder and product of the Bayern youth academy, while fellow 18-year-old Weiser is a full-back who signed from Cologne in the summer and is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2015.
Leverkusen are hoping Bayern will agree to let the duo leave, most likely on loan.
Club executive Wolfgang Holzhauser told Cologne-based newspaper Express: "These two players are of serious interest for any club like us.
"They would fit well to Bayer Leverkusen, to our football idea and also to our current first-team squad.
"We are looking forward to identifying if there is a chance to sign them."
Both players have made appearances for the Bayern first team in the German Cup this season and also have multiple caps for Germany's junior national teams, playing a key role in the country's third-place finish at the 2011 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
