Schalke winger and reported Inter Milan target Julian Draxler has dismissed speculation he could leave the Bundesliga club.

Serie A giants Inter are thought to be keen on the 19-year-old, with reports suggesting a Nerazzurri scout was present for Schalke's 2-2 UEFA Champions League draw with Arsenal two weeks ago.

However, Draxler has made it clear he has no intention of departing the German side and says if he does eventually leave it is likely to be for a Spanish club.

He told BILD: "There is nothing new from me. I am staying on at Schalke.

"I will definitely not be on the move, not even next summer. I'm royal blue - my favourite colours are blue and white."

The teenager, who is under contract at Schalke until June 2016, added: "I do not see myself moving between clubs in the Bundesliga in the future.

"Maybe one day I could feel I have done my best in the Bundesliga and would like to move on to experience a different league and country.

"In this case Spain has always been a country I prefer."
