Stuttgart captain Serdar Tasci hopes the Bundesliga club extend the contract of manager Bruno Labbadia after hailing the impact he has had at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Labbadia took over at Stuttgart in December 2010 and steered the then 17th-placed club clear of relegation before leading them to a sixth-place finish and UEFA Europa League football last season.
Defender Tasci has been impressed by the 46-year-old manager's work at the club and hopes the former German international, whose current deal expires in June 2014, will stay on beyond his contract.
The skipper told BILD: "Of course, as a team, we want to continue working with the manager.
"We know where we were when he started his job at our club. Bruno Labbadia and his staff are doing an excellent job at VfB Stuttgart."
